Back-to-school immunization clinics

DECATUR, IL – The Macon County Health Department is offering back-to-school immunization clinics on Saturdays in  August. These clinics will be held on Saturday, August 10 and Saturday, August 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Macon County Health Department at 1221 E. Condit Street.


In addition to these Saturday clinics, the Macon County Health Department has recently expanded its walk-in immunization clinics on weekdays. The walk-in immunization clinic hours are as follows:

Tuesdays 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.
Wednesdays 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.
Thursdays 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.

Those who are unable to attend these walk-in clinics can call (217) 423-6988 ext: 1333 to schedule an appointment. You're are encouraged to bring immunization records and medical card or insurance card.

The Macon County Health Department is currently a Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Healthcare Caterpillar Provider. Foreign travel immunizations can only be given by appointment. For any additional information, please call (217) 423-6988 ext: 1333.
