Man makes bomb threats to courthouse


Champaign – A man has been arrested for calling bomb threats to the Champaign County courthouse.


Timothy Burnett was arrested for disorderly conduct, after allegedly calling in three bomb threats to the courthouse. The courthouse was not evacuated and no bombs were found after sniffing dogs scoped the scene.


Police spotted Burnett in the parking lot just west of the courthouse about three hours later.
