Mosquitoes found positive for West Nile virus


Champaign – Mosquitoes in Champaign County are now testing positive for West Nile.


Health Officials are now reminding everyone to take steps and limit your exposure to mosquitoes. That includes draining standing water and wearing protective clothing, especially at dawn and dusk.


Champaign along with 47 other Illinois counties reported positive samples for West Nile virus found in birds and mosquitoes.
