More than just books at the Decatur Public Library

The Decatur Public Library has a wide range of materials to check out other than books.

Supervisor Robert Edwards said, there are anywhere between 3,500 and 4,500 DVD's. Some are new and others are older DVD's.

John Carrington checks out DVD's for his mother. He said, "they do have a wide selection. I get new ones every month actually."

If you don't want to check out a DVD, there are also cd's, video games, magazines and audio books. Kids can check out toys and adults can check out laptops that stay in the building.

"Library on the Go" is another tool the library has to keep people interested in reading. Edwards said, there are over 5,000 titles. Library on the Go can be found on the Decatur Public Library's website. The good thing about it is that you don't get fined because after two weeks the book just disappears.@
