Bank robbery sentenced for robbing two rural banks
Logan County – A man from Logan County will serve nearly 12 years in prison for robbing two rural central Illinois banks.
Robert McKissic, 33, was sentenced to 11 years and 8 months in prison on Tuesday, McKissic pleaded guilty to robbing the Bank of Chestnut and Kenney Bank and Trust last year. He was also ordered to pay about $47,000 in restitution to the banks.
McKissic's co-defendant Robert Allspach, 26, of Lake Fork also pleaded guilty. He is scheduled to be sentenced on September 16th.
