Residents urge lawmakers to vote against attacks on Syria
Champaign - Urbana
residents are holding a candlelight vigil this evening to urge lawmakers to
vote against bombing in Syria.
The vigil will be held
at the Champaign County Veteran's Memorial tonight at 7. Residents hope to urge
US representative Rodney Davis and Senator Dick Durbin to vote against the use
of military force in Syria.
Congressman Tim Johnson will be attending the vigil, hosted by moveon.org,
Civil Action and others.
