Mattoon man pleads guilty to obstructing justice


Mattoon - A man the helped hide evidence for murder pleaded guilty.


Andrew May,21, of Mattoon plead guilty to obstructing justice in the murder of a Mattoon bartender. May took gun casings from the gun Thomas O'Dell allegedly used to shoot and kill Benjamin Newton.


In return for his plea May was placed on probation for two years.
