Death ruled a homicide, suspected killer still behind bars
Decatur - The death of Marvin Perry has been ruled a homicide.
Perry was shot to death in August after an altercation. Joshua Jones, 28, was charged with three counts of first degree murder. Police say he shot Marvin Perry, 22, to death on August 15, in the 1200 block of North Union Street.
Perry was shot around 9:30p.m. He was taken to Decatur Memorial Hospital, for a gun shot wound to the chest. He later died from his injuries.
Jones continues to sit behind bars at the Macon County Jail, on First Degree Murder Charges. He is due back in court next week.
