Urbana - An Urbana
teen who accidentally shot and killed his three-year-old nephew is
heading back to juvenile prison, for violating his probation.
The teen failed to meet
with his probation officer in June, July or August. Champaign County Judge
Heidi Ladd called the teen "manipulative" and "out of control."
The shooting happened at
a house on Pennsylvania Avenue
in May 2012. Three-year-old Mekhi Woods was accidentally shot to death by his
14-year-old uncle. He was sentenced to juvenile jail in March, then later
released on probation.
