Springfield - A historic home could be demolished.
The John Taylor house was issued a 60-day demolition delay, but the time is up. The delay was part of a city ordinance to protect structures eligible for landmark status.
The two story, 20 room home was built in 1857 as the residence of John Taylor. "Save Old Springfield," a coalition to save historic structures continues to try and raise money to keep the home standing.
If you would like to help save the John Taylor house call 836-1551.
