Three businesses ticketed during alcohol compliance check

Decatur - The Macon County Sheriff's Department and Decatur Police Department conducted alcohol compliance checks on October 9th and October 10th at local business.

 

Police checked into 28 businesses, three of those businesses resulted in an employee being charged with Unlawful Sale, Gift, or Delivery of Alcoholic Liquor to Person Under 21.

 

The three businesses sited were:

 

Casey's at 105 S. State St., Warrensburg

P&G Market at 195 E. Lewis St., Niantic

Wyckles Convenience Center at 355 N. Wyckles Rd., Decatur

 

The Sheriff's Office and Decatur Police Department will continue to conduct these checks in an effort to keep alcoholic beverages from being sold to minors.  For further information, you may contact Sheriff Thomas Schneider at 424-1332.
