Southeast book keeper arrested for stealing money


Springfield - The Illinois State Police have arrested a Southeast High School employee.


Amy Day, 43, is charged with stealing more than $100,000 from the school's activity fund.  District 186 realized the money was missing through an audit. Day was suspended this month without pay.


The district had no further comments on the arrest at this time.
