Students raise money for breast cancer

Decatur - Three students from MacArthur celebrated the end of breast cancer awareness month with a big donation.

The trio raised 11-hundred dollars by creating and selling their own t-shirts for Breast Cancer Awareness. Brad Munos couldn't believe how fast the shirts sold. "They sold fairly fast, we sold 63 t-shirts in just three days."

The money will go to St. Mary's Hospital.

Valerie Jordan of St. Mary's Hospital told WAND glad to see their effort to help the community, "they were able to think outside of their world into something bigger and make a bigger effect in the community.

Over 70 t-shirts were sold in the community.
