Pesotum - A driver collides with a parked fire truck because of the slick roads.
The Pesotum Fire Department responded to a traffic crash on I-57. A man driving south bound in the left lane failed to slow down, tried to brake at the last moment and skidded out of control on an icy bridge deck crashing into the back end of the fire truck.
The driver, Troy Bailey had minor injuries. While his passenger Terrence Pierson suffered a fractured spine and pelvic bone. Pierson is being treated at Carle Hospital in Urbana.
