Woman turns herself in for deadly hit and run

Springfield - A woman has turned herself in after a hit and run.

 

Mikhala Luttrell, 24, turned herself into police Thursday for leaving the scene of a crash, that left a man dead. The crash happened on November 1st around 12:45 a.m. Police say Luttrell hit the 48-year-old man crossing the street.

 

The man was laying in the street when police arrived. He was transported to St. John's Hospital, he died about a week later on November 9th.

 

Luttrell is charged with aggravated driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
