Bishop plans exorcism against same sex marriage bill
Springfield - Illinois is set to be the 15th state to legalize same sex marriage, but a local bishop is planning an exorcism in protest to the bill.
Bishop Thomas Paprocki of the Diocese of Springfield, says he will preside over a prayer service of supplication and exorcism on the day that governor Quinn signs same sex marriage into law. Paprocki says the union "comes from the devil and should be condemned as such."
Quinn says he plans to sign the bill Wednesday in Chicago. The law takes effect June 1st.
