Springfield - Today is the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg address.
Monday Governor Quinn attended an evening vigil at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. "We welcome the world to come to Springfield, Illinois to learn about Lincoln. It is very important I think tonight as we approach the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address."
Quinn was at Lincoln's Tomb this morning, joined by the parents of an army staff sergeant killed while serving our country.
Evangelist Franklin Graham prayed on a sidewalk outside the Pentagon Thursday after his invitation to a prayer service inside was withdrawn because of comments that insulted people of other religions. More>>
