Rock to the rescue extends a hand to those in need
Bloomington - A fundraising effort for tornado relief will hit the stage next month.
Rock to the Rescue is planned for the US Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington December 4th. Styx REO Speedwagon and others will perform as part of the benefit concert.
Funds will be earmarked for affected families in central Illinois communities that were left reeling in the wake of devastating tornadoes and winds. In order to maximize charitable proceeds, the artists, along with numerous vendors, crew and local staff, have generously forgone any personal compensation for the evening.
Tickets go on sale starting this Saturday ranging from $28 to $58. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com
