IEMA officials have reported a caller claiming to be with FEMA and she was seeking personal information.
FEMA employees do not call and request personal information over the phone. They also carry identification. Ask to see their ID if you have concerns.
Other scams include fraudulent housing inspectors, building contractors and donation solicitors.
