Decatur - Easter Seals in Central Illinois unveils their 23rd ornament, called the Wabash Depot.
Each year Easter Seals and the Chamber of Commerce features historical areas and well known landmarks. Decatur Fire Chief Matt Sekosky explained the importance of these historic ornaments. "Every penny helps for us at Easter Seals. Last year we had a successful program we over sold, that really enhanced our revenue. We are hoping for the same this year."
Because of the high demand last year, 350 ornaments were made for this holiday season. They are available for a 20 dollar donation. Proceeds help the disabled goals through Easter Seals programs.
