Escaped inmate pleads not guilty


Decatur - An inmate who escaped from the Macon County Jail, pleads not guilty.

25-year-old Schuyler McCoy escaped from prison on Wednesday October 30th, he was taken into custody by US Marshals, just hours after being mistakenly released. McCoy identified himself to correctional officers as another inmate and was released.

Schuyler was serving time for the stabbing of Michael Diggs, that occurred in late August.
