Suspect in custody after he was shot by a county deputy
Danville- A man is in custody after a Vermilion County Deputy shot him during a domestic disturbance in Danville.
20-year-old Caleb Emory is being charged with aggravated assault and discharge of a firearm. During the attempted enforcement action, Emory was shot by a Vermilion County Deputy. Emory was taken by ambulance to Carle Hospital in Urbana where his injuries were determined to be non life threatening.
Illinois State Police are still investigating the shooting.
