Urbana -- An Urbana kennel is opening its doors to pets affected by last month's tornadoes.
Crossroads Grooming and Boarding is making room for any animal without a home after the November 17 tornadoes.
While the Animal Clinic of Paxton has been providing shelter and services for many dogs and cats, Crossroads hopes to help lighten their load, especially in the coming weeks.
"We knew that with the holidays coming up that Paxton was going to fill up and that our doors were wide open for them to bring animals here," said Irene Strowmatt, owner of Crossroads.
Crossroads provides a variety of pet services that range from doggy day care to overnight lodging.
