Police and Crime Stoppers looking for suspect(s) of recent shootings

Mattoon Police and Coles County Crimestoppers request public assistance with several recent shootings in which residences were shot.

 

On Nov. 11th residents in the 900 block of N. 20th street reported a garage and a vehicle to have been shot with a firearm.

 

On Nov. 23rd  residents in the 600 block of Edgar Avenue found bullet holes in their home.

 

On Nov. 23rd police responded to the 1000 block of N. 11th street in regards to gunshots being fired into an occupied home.

 

On Nov. 24th police responded to the 300 block of S. 22nd street after gunshots were fired into another occupied residence.

 

Anyone with information in regards to these shootings is requested to contact Mattoon Police at 235-5451, or via Facebook. Callers may also contact Coles County Crimestoppers at 345-8488, or text "crimeleads" to 274637. Callers to Crimestoppers never have to identify themselves and can qualify for cash rewards for information leading to the arrest of the person (s) responsible for these shootings.
