Congressman Davis Against Lunch Regulations

PANA-Anyone who has kids knows it can be tricky to get them to eat their vegetables, but with new federal regulattions, people who work in cafeterias like this one have to be even more creative.

But Congressman Rodney Davis says there are too many regulations the cost is too high and some may not want to eat the food and are going hungry.

So he's proposed a bill--called the School Nutrition Fairness act to get Washington's attention.

"It's going to require that when the White House has an official event, an official state dinner for example, they're going to have to follow the same school nutrition guidelines they want all the schools in America to follow," says Davis.

It would also require the department of Agriculture to observe those standards.
