Decatur - Police arrest a teen for his involvement in a fight leading up to the death of Junisha Cummings.
Briayon Cunningham,17, has been arrested for his involvement in a fight that took place just before Junisha was killed. Police say that Briayon received a phone call, saying that a fight would take place near the intersection of Union and Leafland.
Briayon arrived at the scene where he was accompanied by 4 additional juveniles. The opposing group included Drekevias Palmer and 4 other juveniles.
A fight broke out between the two groups. As the fight continued several gunshots were fired, leading to the death of Junisha Cummings.
Briayon is charged with aggravated battery and mob action.
