Police arrest a man for shooting at occupied residences
Mattoon - Police arrest a man after a series of shootings in November, where occupied residences were shot at.
Police arrested Kevin Morlan for Aggravated Discharge of Firearm. Morlan allegedly used a handgun to shoot into 5 homes while the residents of those homes were inside. Four of the homes are in Mattoon. Morlan was arrested on Monday at 5:07 p.m. in Mattoon.
Morlan was also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. He was also wanted in Cumberland County for DUI, and Coles County for assault.
