A new website will help you get answers and will post updates as rules are being drafted.

Illinois is the 20th state to legalize marijuana for medical purposes. The state will be part of a four year pilot program that will allow for 22 cannabis cultivation centers and 60 dispensaries through out the state.

The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation has 120 days to agree on the final rules for the program, and a coordinator says full implementation is still a few months away.
