Santa visits tornado victims

Washington - Santa Clause made an early visit to central Illinois tornado victims.

Santa and Mrs. Claus brought along elves and even a reindeer to a community center. They spend time with kids, posed for pictures and passed out toys and gifts. A tornado devastated Washington in mid-November and people are still struggling to recover.

Visitors like Jodi Philip came from all over to help raise sprits for the day. "We wanted to bring some Christmas cheer to the area. Saw it on the news, it looked like they really needed some Christmas magic brought down here."

The EF-4 tornado destroyed thousands of homes and left two people dead.
