GIFFORD -- Homeowners and renters in Gifford are invited Thursday evening to attend a community meeting on rebuilding the town, following the November 17 tornado.
The meeting is set for Thursday night, December 26, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Gifford.
City leaders say they've had requests from several organizations asking how they can help rebuild Gifford. The St. Paul's Tornado Relief Center plans to partner with several organizations to achieve the rebuilding goal, including Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent Financial.
But first, the groups need to know what the community wants and needs in the rebuilding process. Gifford renters and homeowners are invited Thursday night to find out what programs may be available to help them rebuild.
