Man expected to be charged with murder for beating death of 2-year-old
Decatur - The Macon County State's Attorney anticipates a murder charge against the Decatur man police say is responsible for child abuse.
According to police 2-year-old Dominic Bradley, who was brutally beaten Monday night is now dead. 28-year-old Manuel Gonzales, was originally arrested for aggravated battery of the child. State's Attorney Jay Scott told WAND he expects that Gonzales will be charged with first degree murder Thursday afternoon.
The attack happened Monday night in the 900 block of West King Street. Gonzales remains in the Macon County Jail.
