Decatur - Charges have been upgraded against a man accused of brutally beating a little boy, who died Tuesday night.
The Macon County State's Attorney says, 28-year-old Mauel Gonzales is now charged with murder. He is being held in the Macon County jail on a $2,000,000 bond.
Decatur Police say, Gonzales beat 2-year-old Dominic Bradley who was in his care at a home in the 900 block of West King Street Monday night. The little boy died of his injuries Tuesday night at Carle Hospital in Urbana.
