Forsyth - A McDonald's manager received a big honor on Wednesday.
Rob Pickett started with McDonald's in 1985, he was recognized today as the 2013 Ray Krock Award. Pickett was congratulated by owner operator Gary Birschback in a small ceremony at the Forsyth location today.
Pickett thanked his staff and his family " Sometimes there's been sacrifices where I haven't been able to be at sporting events or things for my daughter McKenzie, and my wife putting up with me, sometimes come home think I'm the boss but I am not the boss at home."
Rob Pickett is the only winner out of the 103 McDonald's in Central Illinois for sales, operations, community involvement and employee development.
He will be treated to a cash prize, gifts, and a three day celebration in Chicago with the CEO in March.
