BLOOMINGTON - It didn't take long for tickets to sell out for a free benefit concert to raise money for tornado recovery efforts in Illinois.
Officials at Bloomington's U.S. Cellular Coliseum say all 5,000 tickets to see Grammy-winners Chicago were sold out by 2 p.m. Tuesday.
They were available starting at 11 a.m.
The Jan. 29 performance follows a concert in early December that raised about $300,000 for restoration efforts. That show featured performances by Styx, REO Speedwagon and Richard Marx among others.
The two dozen twisters that hit Illinois on Nov. 17 are blamed for the deaths of seven people.
