Police seeking information about a robbery on the U of I campus
Urbana - The University of Illinois police need help finding a man who beat and robbed a woman, a few blocks from the U of I police department on Tuesday night.
Police say a 26-year-old student was walking in the 1100 block of West Main Street on her way to a nearby apartment, when she was attacked from behind. An unidentified man punched her in the head at least 10 times and took her bag.
Police are currently examining video from an MTD bus that showed four men in the area where the robbery happened.
