Woman accused of forgery for stealing money from funeral home

Decatur - A Decatur woman is accused of stealing money from a funeral home.

 

Decatur police say, 18-year-old Anastasia Daniel worked as an unpaid intern at Walker Funeral Home, back in December. She allegedly forged more than 10 checks from the funeral home's accounts. In all Daniel spent $3,000 at several stores in Decatur from December 2nd to the 16th.

 

Daniel is expected back in court next month.
