It started at about 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Springfield firefighters say the fire sparked inside a second floor storage room. The sprinkler system smoldered the flames.

Fire crews say there was significant water and smoke damage throughout the building. The store opened as normal on Friday, at 9 a.m.

The water and smoke damage was minimal, the cause is still undetermined at this time.

Scheels thanked the Springfield Fire Department, Peerless Cleaners, and Servicemaster for their help.
