Child remains in critical condition after he was shot
Danville - A 5-year-old boy was shot when he and another child were playing with a gun.
Police continue to investigate into the incident on Saturday night, it happened in a Danville apartment in the Beton Street Area. The child was airlifted to St. Louis Children's Hospital at the request of the parents, he remains in critical condition.
Director of Public Safety Larry Thomason "there have been no arrests in the incident, and detectives continue their investigation into the matter."
