Police searching for three robbery suspects


Champaign - Police are looking for three suspects accused of robbing three men at gun point.


The three suspects entered an apartment complex, in the 2000 block of North Mattis Avenue on Tuesday at 12:46 p.m. Police say the suspects robbed three men at gunpoint, all three suspects had handguns.


An employee of the apartment complex was contacted after a resident reported overhearing a robbery taking place in one of the apartments. When the employee went to the apartment to investigate, he, along with two of the apartment's residents, were tied up and robbed. No one reported being injured during the incident.


All three offenders then fled from the apartment and were last seen traveling in a two-door white vehicle, last seen heading eastbound on Bloomington Road.
