Woman remains in serious condition after argument with boyfriend
Decatur - Police are investigating after an argument sent a woman to the hospital.
Police arrested William Bruno, 26, for aggravated domestic battery. Bruno, the boyfriend of the victim, allegedly pushed the victim off a bed in their home, then shoved her into a dresser and kicked her in the head.
When police arrived at the home in the 500 block of North Moffet Avenue, they found the 32-year-old woman on a bed, she was bleeding from head wounds. The woman was taken to Decatur Memorial Hospital.
The victim remains in serious condition, she is expected to survive but could suffer long term health care issues.
Bruno is currently being housed in the Macon County Jail on $150,000 bond.
