Roads slick after snow and dropping temperatures

Slick roads and dangerously cold temperatures causing several car related incidents.

 

Illinois State Police say they have already responded to 65 incidents this morning. Police say, a majority of the crashes are because of black ice. Troopers are urging you to be careful when out on the roads.

 

State Police say, there have been 13 crashes and over 50 drivers stuck in ditches or medians. Troopers reported ice on I-74 west of Champaign and I-72 in Piatt County. Plus there are several scattered spots on Interstates 57,72, and 74.
