Decatur - A new production cafeteria is open, inside the newly renovated Eisenhower High School in Decatur.
The new cafeteria is called Servery. Cooks will not only prepare food for Eisenhower student, but for 10,000 other kids in District 61 Schools.
On Friday Aramark hosted a special celebration "As much as adults have been through, all the work and all the move and everything like that, the kids have been through the same thing. And so to have them in to the new building and to just let them know we appreciate them as customers coming through our cafeteria, draw attention to it and give them a thank you. Give them a special day" said Scot Gregory.
The total cost of the renovations at the school came out to $40,000,000
