Ryan Nibbe will spend 17 years behind bars for second-degree murder


Paxton - The man charged with second-degree murder, for the death of Timothy Robertson, has been sentenced.

Ryan Nibbe,34, was sentenced on Monday. He will spend 17 years behind bars for the murder.

Nibbe admitted to punching 44-year-old Robertson during a July 28th, 2013 incident. Nibbe threw two punches, the second caused Robertson to hit the sidewalk and fracture his skull. He spent several days at Carle Foundation Hospital, until he died from a traumatic head injury, on August 5th, 2013.
