Man wanted for murder found riding a Greyhound bus


Decatur - Police make an arrest for a man who was wanted for murder.


On Monday police arrested a male passenger traveling on the Greyhound Bus Lines from Chicago, IL to Reno, NV.  


Police took Eduardo Ornelas-Velasquez into custody after he gave police several false names. He was arrested for obstructing justice. Sutter County, California authorities told Decatur Police that Velsquez is a member of the Norteno Street Gang and has an arrest history involving firearm offenses.


The Decatur Police Department currently patrols the Pilot Travel Center, to ensure the safety of those persons traveling through our community.
