Police locate 75 pounds of cannabis inside a Decatur home


Decatur - Police find a stolen firearm, cannabis, and money inside a Decatur home.


Police arrested Tyler Davis, 30, on several charges, including possession of cannabis, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a stolen firearm.


On Tuesday shortly before 9:30 a.m. police executed a search warrant for a home at 865 South Stone. Police found 75 pounds of cannabis, with a value of over $340,000. Police also located a  digital scale, various packaging materials, approximately $24,000 cash, 8.9 grams of suspected cocaine and two handguns. One of the handguns was reported to be stolen.


Davis is currently being held in the Macon County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
