Health Administrator steps down for family business

Decatur - The Macon County Health Administrator has stepped down to join her family business.

 

Julie Aubert turned in her resignation, effective April 19th. She was named administrator in April of 2010.

 

Aubert has proudly served her entire career in the not-for-profit sector, with significant contributions to promote health and wellness in Macon County for residents of all ages

 

Some of her accomplishments include saving nearly one million dollars in tax money by streamlining operations. Aubert has been in public service for 23 years. She will now branch out into the private sector by joining her family business, Cedar Lake Gardens/Walkers Landscaping.
