Police still looking for suspect after a high speed chase
Villa Grove - Douglas County investigators need your help finding a driver wanted in a high-speed chase on Sunday.
Deputies and Villa Grove police pursued a red 1995 four door Pontiac, through the country near Villa Grove, at speeds up to 110 miles per hour. During the pursuit a Douglas County Deputy rolled his squad car and it came to rest in a farm field. The deputy was transported to Sara Bush Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect continued westbound. Police are still searching for the suspect. The Pontiac had license plates P812551.
The suspect vehicle is wanted for
aggravated fleeing and eluding and leaving the scene of a personal injury
crash. Anyone having any information pertaining to this vehicle for incident is
