SPRINGFIELD- A woman accused of killing and dismembering her husband is found guilty of murder.
A Sangamon County jury convicted Juatasha Denton McCaster of first degree murder, concealment of a homicide, dismemberment of a human body and obstruction of justice.
The jury deliberated for more than seven hours on Tuesday.
Denton McCaster murdered her husband in October 2012, cutting off Norman McCaster's head, arms, and feet. Investigators found his body in a field in rural Mechanicsburg several days later.
The 24 year old faces at least 90 years in prison. She will be sentenced in June.
