2 die, 3 hurt in fiery Champaign County crash

HOMER, Ill. (AP) -- Authorities say two people died and three others were hurt during a fiery crash in the east-central Illinois community of Homer.

 Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup says 62-year-old Dorothy Doxtater and 33-year-old Scott Doxtater were pronounced dead at the scene of Sunday afternoon's crash. Both were from Indianapolis.

 An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

Three others were hospitalized at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Their conditions weren't available.
A 19-year-old driver of a second vehicle has been charged with improper lane usage.
