Casey Man Pleads Guilty To Attempted Murder

MARSHALL - A Casey man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to attempted murder charges.  Henry Bice was initially charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon for the stabbing of his estranged wife.  As a part of a plea agreement with prosecutors, the aggravated battery charge was dropped.

According to police on September 4, 2013, officers responded to a report of a stabbing.  Upon arrival, they found a woman bleeding from multiple stab wounds.  Further investigation revealed that her estranged husband was the assailant.  Bice was arrested two and a half hours later.
